Summer Project has started!

Right so trying to do some new things over the summer (even though I am still at University currently, details, details) and one of the things I wanted to experiment with is some food photography. My first attempt was with some doughnuts, I was in the mood to take some photos so instantly left to get supplies, I went and brought some plates at a charity shop and brought some doughnuts as I lacked the time and money to make them by hand.

For the doughnuts I also sprinkled more sugar on to to make them look nicer and then scattered sugar around the plate on the counter. I had this on a small aperture so that I would have a shallow depth of field to make the sugar look more interesting and also focus more on certain parts of one of the doughnuts.
